Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to all paid subscriptions to WP Admin Assistant Pro, processed via our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"). Please read this policy together with our Terms & Conditions.
1. Cancelling Your Subscription
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time, without penalty, by:
- Visiting the Paddle billing portal, accessible from the link in your subscription confirmation email, or
- Going to the plugin's Settings > Subscription page within your WordPress admin, or
- Emailing us at contact@wpadminassistant.com and we will cancel it for you.
When you cancel:
- Your Pro subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period.
- No further charges are made after the cancellation date.
- At the end of the billing period, your plan automatically reverts to the Free plan (5 questions/day).
- Your conversation history is retained on the Free plan but you cannot add new messages once you hit the Free tier limit.
We do not offer plan pausing in V1.
2. Statutory Right of Withdrawal (EU/UK Consumers)
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or European Union, you have a legal right to withdraw from a digital subscription within 14 days of your initial purchase and receive a full refund — without giving any reason.
Important: Waiver of Withdrawal Right
During checkout, we ask you to explicitly acknowledge that you want immediate access to the Pro plan and that you understand this means you waive your 14-day withdrawal right once the digital service has begun. This is standard practice for digital subscriptions under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and EU Directive 2011/83/EU.
If you checked this box and immediately accessed the Pro service, you may not be entitled to the statutory refund. However, please see Section 3 for our discretionary refund approach.
If you did not waive this right, or if there is any ambiguity, contact us within 14 days of purchase:

We will process a full refund within 14 days of confirming your request, via the original payment method (processed by Paddle).
3. Discretionary Refunds
Outside the statutory 14-day window, we do not offer refunds as a matter of routine. However, we review refund requests on a case-by-case basis. We will consider a discretionary refund if:
- The Service was not usable due to a verified bug or outage on our side, and we were unable to resolve it within a reasonable time.
- You were charged incorrectly (e.g. a duplicate payment or a charge after cancellation).
- This is your first subscription to Pro and you request a refund within 7 days of your first charge — we operate an informal goodwill first-time refund policy.
We do not issue refunds for:
- Change of mind after the statutory withdrawal window has closed (unless the goodwill criteria above are met).
- Forgetting to cancel before a renewal charge.
- Dissatisfaction with AI answer quality — the AI disclaimer in our Terms & Conditions is provided before purchase.
- Technical issues caused by your WordPress environment, server configuration, or third-party plugin conflicts.
To request a discretionary refund, email contact@wpadminassistant.com with the subject "Refund Request" and include your registered email address and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
4. Billing via Paddle (Merchant of Record)
All payments for WP Admin Assistant Pro are processed by Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record. This means:
- Your payment and billing details are held by Paddle, not by us. We do not store your card number or bank details.
- Refunds are processed by Paddle on our instruction. Once approved, Paddle will return the funds via your original payment method.
- The charge on your bank statement will appear as "Paddle.com* WP Admin" or similar Paddle branding.
- VAT and local taxes are collected and remitted by Paddle. Where applicable, a VAT receipt is available from the Paddle billing portal.
- For payment disputes that Paddle cannot resolve in coordination with us, Paddle has their own buyer support process at paddle.com/help.
